Universal Design for Learning and Canvas
Learners are multidimensional, and each individual has their own experiences, strengths, and weaknesses in the learning process. The Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Framework aims to optimize teaching and learning by increasing access for all students (CAST, 2018). This Canvas resource will identify specific UDL strategies that can help advance the equity and inclusiveness in courses and contexts, aided by Canvas and integrated tools. This resource is a collaboration between the Center for Advancing Teaching and Learning Through Research (CATLR) and Academic Technologies (AT).
This is not a formal “course” – there is no need to go in any order or to complete all the modules.
